General Information
Manuka Wound Honey is 100% medical grade Manuka honey with powerful antibacterial and wound repair properties to support healing and help prevent scabbing and scarring, while being gentle on the skin.
How Manuka Honey works to repair and restore damaged tissue:
• Cleanse & Protect: Manuka Honey has powerful antibacterial activity when applied to wounds and broken skin. It has been shown in clinical studies to be effective against a wide variety of bacteria. Manuka Honey also has a debriding action which helps gently clear the wound site of debris while protecting the new healthy tissue.
• Heal: Manuka Honey speeds the healing process and helps reduce scarring. It draws excess fluid away from the wound site while still maintaining a moist wound site beneficial for healing.
