General Information

Now you can breathe easy when wearing the 3M™  P2 Particulate Respirator, which filters airborne particles such as airborne pollen, bushfire particles, exhaust particles and other airborne particles. Meets Australian and New Zealand Standards, AS/NZS 1716.

The 3M™ P2 Particulate Respirator 9123 is a maintenance-free, flat fold disposable respirator that is intended for use by consumers used in consumer applications (and other users where permitted by applicable regulations) to help reduce exposure to certain airborne particulate matter. The respirator is worn over the mouth and nose and attaches via elastic side bands with hook attachment behind the base of the head/top of the neck. When used as instructed, this respirator can help reduce inhalation exposure to certain types of non-oily airborne particles, such as dirt, dust, sand, vehicle exhaust particles, pollen, environmental air pollution, PM2.5 (fine particles), PM10 and other airborne particulate matter.

Warnings

1) Always follow these instructions. It is important to secure the side bands using the hook and check for a proper seal when wearing the respirator. 2) Do not use over facial hair or anything that prevents a good seal between the face and the sealing edge of this respirator(user must be clean shaven). 2) Individuals with a compromised respiratory system,such as asthma or emphysema, should consult a health care profession and complete a medical evaluation prior to use. Stop using if discomfort exists. 3) Before use, read How to use instructions. 4) Product is not to be used by children, CHOKING HAZARD - small part. Keep away from children and Pets. 5) Not recommended for industrial workplace application.

Common Uses

When used as instructed, this respirator can help reduce inhalation exposure to certain types of non-oily airborne particles, such as dirt, dust, sand, vehicle exhaust particles, pollen, environmental air pollution, PM2.5 (fine particles), PM10 and other airborne particulate matter.

Directions

1) Open the respirator, then put it on so the foam and nose clip is across the bridge of nose.Ensure it covers the nose and chin. 2) Pull each side brand behind the head and attach with hook to secure the position. 3) Press the noseclip towards your nose,then using the fingers of both hands, form the noseclip to the shape of the nose. 4) To check for a proper seal: cover the respirator with both hands then breathe in quickly. Check for air leaking at the edhes or at the nose position and if so, repeat steps 1-4 to eliminate leakage.
