WHAT MAKES THE PEN WORK?
We're glad you asked! Our whitening pen comes in a clear serum which is supercharged with hydrogen peroxide. The serum, once applied with the precision brush, quickly forms a smudge-proof, concentrated hydrogen peroxide film on your teeth for enhanced whitening!

HOW WHITE WILL MY TEETH GET?
While everyone's results vary, if properly used your teeth should be three shades whiter in 2 weeks!

WILL IT CAUSE SENSITIVITY?
This whitening pen was designed for no tooth sensitivity during and after the whitening process, and it is enamel safe. Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If you experience more than mild tooth sensitivity, stop use and consult your dentist.

WHEN SHOULD I USE THE PEN?
Apply Colgate Optic White Teeth Whitening Serum to clean teeth right before going to bed, after your normal oral care routine. Once applied, the serum forms a concentrated hydrogen peroxide film on your teeth which will stay on overnight while you catch those zzzs. The next morning, brush like normal to remove the film and reveal your brighter, whiter smile.

CAN I EAT AFTER APPLICATION?
It is not recommended to eat directly after the formula is applied.

WHAT DOES "DRY" TEETH MEAN?
We know it sounds a bit strange but for best results teeth need to be dry! Here's how you can dry teeth - after brushing your teeth, simply dab your teeth with a tissue or wipe them with your finger to remove excess saliva. The treatment works by quickly forming a smudge-proof, concentrated hydrogen peroxide film on your teeth. If your teeth are dry, this film adheres to your teeth better for enhanced whitening!

HOW MUCH SERUM SHOULD I APPLY?
1-2 clicks of serum is enough to whiten up to 4 teeth. For the very first use, it may take up to 20 clicks to get the first drop of serum to appear on the brush.

CAN I USE THE PEN AS A REFILL?
Yes!
