General Information

BRUFEN® EXTRA contains two active ingredients which provide longer-lasting pain and inflammation relief.

Warnings

Pharmacy Medicine. Always read the label. Use only as directed. Medicines have benefits, and some may have risks.  If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional. Incorrect use may be harmful. Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients in the tablet. Do not use during the first 6 months of pregnancy or during breastfeeding, and advice from your healthcare professional should be obtained. Do not use in children under 12 years. The lowest effective dose for the shortest duration should be used. Brufen® is a registered trademark of Mylan NZ Limited, Auckland.

Common Uses

BRUFEN® EXTRA contains two active ingredients which provide longer-lasting pain and inflammation relief from:  headache, migraine headache, tension headache, dental pain, back pain, muscular pain, period pain, rheumatic pain and non-serious arthritic pain, cold & flu symptoms and sore throat.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains 200milligrams Ibuprofen / 500milligrams Paracetamol

Directions

Take with water. Adults and children from 12 years: 1-2 tablets every 6-8 hours as necessary (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours). Do not exceed the maximum stated dose.  Do not give BRUFEN EXTRA to children under 12 years.
