General Information

Fortisip Compact Protein is a ready-to-drink, high energy, high protein nutritional supplement. Each 125ml bottle provides 300 kcal and 18g of protein.

  • Can help you meet your daily nutritional needs when your usual diet is not enough.
  • High in calories to help maintain your body weight when you are unwell or recovering from illness.
  • Similar protein amount as three eggs (per bottle) to assist in maintaining muscle mass.
  • Available in 6 delicious flavours: vanilla, mocha, strawberry, neutral, cool red fruits and hot tropical ginger.

Warnings

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use. Not suitable for people with galactosaemia. Not suitable for people with cow’s milk protein allergy. Not suitable for children under the age of 6 years. Use with caution in children aged 6-10 years. Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration status. Use with caution with patients with impaired renal function. Must be used under medical supervision

For the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition, especially in individuals with high protein and energy requirements or those who struggle with volume intolerance.

Ingredients

Fortisip Compact Protein Vanilla: cow’s milk proteins, water, maltodextrin, sucrose, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), magnesium hydrogen phosphate, emulsifier (soy lecithin), flavouring (vanilla), choline chloride, potassium citrate, sodium L-ascorbate, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, ferrous lactate, retinyl acetate, colour (curcumin), DL-α tocopheryl acetate, copper gluconate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamin hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, nicotinamide, riboflavin, sodium fluoride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, chromium chloride, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, sodium selenite, D-biotin, phytomenadione, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin.

  • Contains: milk and soy.
  • Halal certified.
  • Nutricia UK and/or Ireland have Kosher approval for this product, except for those flavours which contain carminic acid.
  • No gluten containing ingredients. No detectable gluten when tested to a sensitivity level of less than 5 parts per million (<5 ppm i.e. <5mg/kg). 
  • Low lactose (lactose <2g/100g).
