Use

This is for patients who have a prescription for Epipen Junior with a valid Special Authority for the medicine to be funded.

Prescription-only Medicine. Adrenaline. For used for the emergency treatment of anaphylaxis (acute severe allergic reactions) due to insect stings or bites, foods, medications or other allergens. Epipen is funded for some patients, talk to your doctor or pharmacist for more information. EpiPen contains Adrenaline 150micrograms/0.3millilitres. SINGLE USE ONLY. 1. Form a fist around the EpiPen and PULL off the blue safety release. 2. Hold leg firmly. PUSH the orange end firmly into the outer mid-thigh until it 'clicks' and hold for 3 seconds.
