Warnings

Avoid pain or discomfort: Pumping shouldn’t be painful. If you feel any discomfort your flange or insert may be incorrectly fitted. If you have any damage to your nipples or breast cease pumping immediately.
 
Prevent over-pumping: Pumping too frequently or excessively may cause pain to the breast, nipple trauma, an oversupply, engorgement, or mastitis. It is best to seek the advice of an LC if you wish to pump exclusively.
