Use

Prescription-only Medicine. Naltrexone, Bupropion hydrochloride. CONTRAVE is indicated, as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, for the management of weight in adult patients (=18 years) with an initial Body Mass Index (BMI) of = 30 kg/m2 (obese), or = 27 kg/m2 to < 30 kg/m2 (overweight) in the presence of one or more weight-related medical conditions. CONTRAVE has risks and benefits and is not suitable when specified medical conditions are present, during pregnancy or when certain other medication types are being taken. Precautions are possible thoughts of suicide, use in controlled high blood pressure, possible likelihood of seizure and driving and operating machinery, history of mania or depression. Common side effects are nausea or vomiting, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, headache. Use strictly as directed. If symptoms persist or you have side effects, see your doctor.
