General Information

Olbas Oil is a mixture of essential plant oils used to help clear nasal passages by inhalation and may be applied to the skin as a rub to relieve stiffness and muscular tension. The original Swiss aromatherapy oil, with powerful vapors that enhance your breathing passage, just a few drops is all it takes.

Has been used for the relief of bronchial and nasal congestion, hay fever and minor infections of the respiratory tract, by inhalation. Has also been used to relieve the symptoms of muscular pain and stiffness, including back ache, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis and rheumatic pain by application to the skin.

Warnings

If Olbas oil is accidentally swallowed seek medial advice immediately. If Olbas oil comes into direct contact with the surface of the eye, wash thoroughly and seek medical advice.

Common Uses

Inhalant / decongestant

Ingredients

Cajuput oil  18.5%
Clove oil 0.1%
Eucalyptus oil 35.45%
Juniper berry oil 2.7%,
Levomenthol 4.1%
Methyl Salicylate 3.7%
Mint oil, partly dementholised 35.45%

Directions

As an inhalant:
Adults and children aged 2 and over: Add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and inhale. 
Children 3 months - to 2 years of age: Add 1 drop on a tissue and hold close to nose allow the child to breath in the vapour. 
 
As an external rub:
Adults and children aged 12 and over: Massage into the effected area three times a day.
