General Information

S-26 LI is a premium specialty infant formula designed for formula-fed infants up to 12 months of age with symptoms of lactose intolerance/maldigestion and diarrhoea caused by lactose intolerance. For older babies, S-26 LI may be used when introducing foods carefully selected to be in line with a diet suitable for lactose intolerance. S-26 LI is not suitable for infants with galactosaemia or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

PREPARE BOTTLES AND TEATS AS DIRECTED. DO NOT CHANGE PROPORTIONS OF POWDER EXCEPT ON MEDICAL ADVICE. INCORRECT PREPARATION CAN MAKE YOUR BABY VERY ILL. S-26 LI IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GENERAL USE AND SHOULD BE USED UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION. Not suitable for infants with galactosemia or glucose-galactose malabsorption. S-26 LI contains traces of residual lactose which some experts consider to be high for such disease. In case of acute diarrhoea, it is crucial to provide your baby with appropriate amounts of water and electrolytes. Untreated severe loss of water and electrolytes can lead to life threatening dehydration. Therefore ask your health professional for advice.

Glucose syrup, vegetable oils, milk solids, minerals (calcium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium phosphate, magnesium oxide, potassium citrate, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenate), emulsifier (soy lecithin), omega LCPUFAs (DHA from fish oil, AA), vitamins [sodium ascorbate (vit C), calcium pantothenate (vit B5), niacinamide (niacin), dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (vit E), retinyl acetate (vit A), thiamin mononitrate (vit B1), riboflavin (vit B2), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit B6), folic acid, phylloquinone (vit K1), biotin, cholecalciferol (vit D3), cyanocobalamine (vit B12)], choline bitartrate, inositol, Lactobacillus reuteri culture (DSM 17938 under license from BioGaia AB), acidity regulator (citric acid), taurine, nucleotides (cytidine 5'-monophosphate, uridine 5'-monophosphate, adenosine 5'-monophosphate, guanosine 5'-monophosphate), L-histidine, antioxidant (mixed tocopherols concentrate, ascorbyl palmitate), L-carnitine. Contains milk, soy, fish.

Directions

1 Wash your hands carefully. 2 Thoroughly clean bottle, teat and cap until no milk residue remains. Steam sterilise as per manufacturer's instructions. Or, boil for 5 minutes, turn off heat, leave covered. 3 Boil drinking water and allow to cool. 4 Consult feeding table. Pour exact amount of lukewarm water into bottle. Then, add powder using only the scoop provided. Level each scoop using leveller. 5 Cap bottle and shake well until powder is fully dissolved. Check temperature before feeding the baby. 6 Close can tightly after each use, and store in a cool dry place. 7 Consume immediately after preparation.^ ^It is safer to feed formula immediately after preparation. If correctly stored and made up in accordance with the directions on the label, no further vitamin or mineral preparations are necessary. Prepare only one bottle at a time. Follow the instructions exactly. Do not keep unfinished bottle; discard the contents. Always hold baby while feeding. Leaving baby unattended may cause choking.
