ABOUT FAST DELIVERY

Fast Delivery is an on-demand delivery service that allows you to place an online order and have it delivered directly to your door.

All everyday essential products are available to order through Fast Delivery.

You will not be able to order any Online Only products, Pharmacist Only medicines or Prescription Medicines using the Fast Delivery service.

PLACING ORDER

No, Fast Delivery is only available for delivery addresses within 8km radius or 20km driving distance of a participating store. If your delivery address is outside of these distances, you will not be able to select the Fast Delivery option at checkout.

Fast Delivery may not be available at checkout due to one of the following reasons:

  • One or more of the products in your cart is not eligible for Fast Delivery
  • One or more of the products in your cart is low in stock
  • Your address is more than 8km radius from a participating store, or greater than a 20km driving distance.

The delivery fee depends on the distance travelled. Deliveries within 11km driving distance of the Chemist Warehouse store have a flat fee of $14.99. For deliveries over this driving distance, the fee will depend on the distance travelled and will be shown to you at checkout before confirming your order.

You’ll be able to choose between two delivery windows when selecting Fast Delivery at checkout.

  1. 3-HOUR DELIVERY

    Weekdays: 4PM cut-off

    Weekends: 2PM cut-off

    Please note: Orders placed after cut-off will be delivered by 11am the following day.

  2. SAME DAY DELIVERY

    Weekdays: 11AM cut-off

    Weekend: 11AM cut-off

    Please note: Orders placed after cut-off will be delivered by 6pm the following day.

Orders will be delivered on public holidays, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day. Any orders placed on Good Friday or Christmas Day will be delivered the next day.

If a store is closed on a given public holiday, the Fast Delivery option will not be available when checking out.

Unfortunately, no orders will be delivered if you have entered a PO Box as your address as Fast Delivery orders cannot be left unattended.

PICKING ORDERS

The store will have to ‘short-pick’ the order as not all items are available.

An "Action Required" email will be sent to notify you that one or more products are unavailable from your order - an immediate response is necessary to finalise your order. You will be prompted to choose from the below actions:

Partial Order: Receive all the available items and cancel out of stock products. The transaction in your account will be adjusted to reflect the new order value.

Cancel Order: The entire order will be cancelled. The transaction in your account will disappear, including the delivery fee as no money is taken out until the order is awaiting collection by the driver.

If an option is not chosen in 7 days, your order will be automatically cancelled.

DELIVERING ORDERS

You are required to meet the Driver upon delivery. The Driver will confirm your name to ensure that the order was delivered to the person who placed the order.

If your order contains a Pharmacy Medicine, you are required to present your ID to the Driver to be scanned as proof of identification.

No, you will not be able to select a specific time, however there is an option for an On-Demand Delivery service where you are able to receive your order within 3 hours from placing your order.

The customer that placed the order must be home to receive it.

If this person is not home, the order will be returned to the store it was picked from. You will then need to contact the store to organise a new delivery time or to pick it up in-store.

Please note: Additional delivery fees apply if organising a new delivery and no refund on the original delivery fee.

A SMS/Email will be sent to you at each of the below ordering stages:

1. Processing

2. Awaiting Pickup

3. Delivered

You will also be able to track the order status if you log into your Chemist Warehouse account.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

If you would like to return an item, have an item faulty/damaged/missing or have issues regarding your delivery service, please contact or visit the store that your order was picked from.

You may be qualified to receive a refund on your delivery fee if you meet one of the following criteria:

1. Your order is delivered late

2. You receive poor delivery service

3. Your order is delivered to the wrong address

4. Products in your order are missing or damaged

You will need to contact the store to request a refund - refunds will be made at the store's discretion.
