General Information

Melrose Organic Evening Primrose Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the evening primrose flower, which blooms only at sunset.

Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA); a unique omega-6 fatty acid that assists in the production of hormones necessary for many important bodily functions.

Evening Primrose oil has been used traditionally to help with skin, scalp and hair health. It can be used topically to help nourish and moisturise the skin.

Warnings

Store below 25C. For extended freshness, store refrigerated. Refrigerate after opening. Best consumed within 12 weeks. Do not use if cap seal is broken.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your healthcare practitioner before taking this product.

Common Uses

- Natural source of omega-6 essential fatty acid, gamma-linolenic acid (GLA)

- Low levels of GLA have been found in woman with premenstrual syndrome (PMS)

100% organic evening primrose oil

Directions

Adults take 1 teaspoon (5mL) daily. Children 2 to 12 years take 2.5mL daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Best consumed with food.
