General Information

Nurofen For Children  is an orange flavoured, sugar free and colour free syrup formulated  with 200mg/5ml ibuprofen recommended for children 3 months to 5 Years It provides fever relief for up to 8 hours^1 and starts to work from 15 minutes^2. The product helps relive fever, including fever caused by immunisation. The product also helps provide temporary pain relief for everyday pain occassions. Including: sprains and strains, cold & flu syptoms, sore throat, teething.

Warnings

NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN SUSPENSION 200mg/5mL: USE: For reduction in temperature for up to 8 hours including fever caused by immunisation. CONTAINS: Ibuprofen (200mg per 5mL). DOSAGE: 4.5-5.5mL (in those aged 5-7 years/18-22kg), 5.5-7mL (in those aged 7-9 years/22-28kg), 7-10mL (in those aged 9-12 years/28-40kg). Repeat dose every 6 to 8 hours as necessary (max. 3 doses in 24 hours). PREC: use in children < 1 year of age, asthma, varicella, concomitant use of anti-inflammatories or regular medications, dehydration, in women trying to conceive or first 6 months of pregnancy, >65 years of age. CONTRA: use in babies < 3 months of age, impaired kidney or liver function, stomach disorders or stomach ulcers, heart problems, allergy to aspirin ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines, last 3 months of pregnancy. Common Uses

For reduction in temperature for up to 8 hours including fever caused by immunisation.

Ingredients

ACTIVE INGREDIENT (PER 5mL): Ibuprofen 200mg

Directions

Shake the bottle well and use the syringe provided to measure the dose accurately. Push the syringe firmly into the neck of the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down and gently pull the plunger down, drawing the liquid into the syringe. Turn the bottle right way up and gently twist the syringe to remove. To dose your child, press the plunger slowly down to release the liquid. After use replace the cap and wash the separated syringe parts in warm water and allow to dry (do not boil).
